Registration for the seventh annual Interior Motives Design Awards - themed ‘Sustainable and Clever' - is now open. Hosted by our quarterly interior design publication Interior Motives, the competition challenges design students around the world to come up with innovative designs that offer clever solutions to the problems facing 21st century vehicle design. Alfa Romeo and Fiat have signed an agreement to build a new new RWD roadster based on the next generation Mazda MX-5 platform. Sergio Marchionne is a big believer that the only way to survive as a mainstream car maker is to be as big as possible and share development costs whenever you can. Which explains – from the Fiat point of view – why Alfa Romeo has entered in to an agreement to produce a new roadster with Mazda to be based on the next generation Mazda MX-5 RWD platform.

Porsche 911 GT2: the lowdown
Earlier today the web was abuzz with leaked pictures of Porsche’s hottest car of the year. An American brochure was doing the rounds with all the juicy details of the hardcore GT2 revealed. Porsche responded to the leak and released the first official details and pictures weeks early, revealed here for the first time.
